Let's start with an MVP.
We conducted competitor research and held workshops with the client to define both the objectives of the project and the features that were needed for the user to have a positive and genuinely useful experience.

Creating the optimal User Experience.
Using our findings and working closely with a team of UXers, we fleshed out the user journeys and built up the feature set. We defined what features would be available in the MVP and which ones would be developed in the iterations moving forward.

Atomic Design System.
Using a hybrid of the Atomic Design Principle, creating elements but using a testing area for contextual reference, I created an initial colour palette which included a 'Performance Spectrum' which indicated a user's level quickly, an initial suite of icons which could be used for the MVP design and build and a clear typography system to ensure consistent hierarchy across the platform.

Test and Iterate.
Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and the client's Product Owners, we have collected as much user data as possible, gathered feedback using Hotjar, Mixpanel and Google Analytics, and iterated the design based on our learnings.
We have continued to develop the platform based on the product roadmap that was developed earlier in the project and continued to add features and refine the journeys since launch.
